MCG organizes a variety of Events: lectures, demonstrations, and excursions aimed at bringing its members a better understanding of the various cultures in the region. MCG events are open to all members, although reservations are required for participation.<

In addition to these monthly events, MCG members are encouraged to join our other activities:

The Explorers  meet once a month to explore items of interest and visit interesting places that are off the beaten track.

The Book Club  reads a selection each month chosen for its Southeast Asian content. Due to the high level of participation, we now have 2 chapters of the Book Club. Members may also make use of the extensive collection of books, magazines and articles on art, culture, and religion available in the  Library.

MCG publishes a monthly Newsletter  which can be read or downloaded by members from this website. The Newsletter gives information about upcoming events, book reviews, reports, updates, material contributed by members, the MCG President's message of the month, and other items of interest.

We are proud to offer Regional Reciprocal Attendance Agreements with associations in Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok and Hong Kong.

PLEASE NOTE that the information in this website has been gathered informally within the group and reproduced privately for members' enjoyment only. There may be inaccuracies and these publications are not designed for commercial use. Anyone intending to make formal or outside use of MCG material is requested to contact the President.

Please also note that MCG is run by volunteers and has no office or telephone number.

Members may contact Committee members by using the Contact Us link in the main menu.<>
